About Faye Stevens
Faye Stevens has been a freelance illustrator and designer for over 15 years. Based in Yorkshire, she gained a university degree in Applied Arts and then studied pattern cutting and dressmaking. Traditional drawing and paper manipulation techniques are used to design colourful, quirky and always original silk scarves made from the finest quality 100% silk twill. Digitally printed in the UK using one of the most eco-friendly printing methods. Then hand finished with rolled edges and beautifully presented in a smart white card envelope making it perfect for gifting.
Faye’s inspiration comes from British wildlife and nature. The relationship between colour, pattern and form is fundamental to each design. Every item is produced in small batches and made locally in the UK. The small batches ensure beautifully crafted items and minimal waste.
